Assume at first sight

Its so easy to judge a person on how they look. You may see some one always smiling and have a positive attitude every time you pass by and see them. But that person won't always be nice like we assume. They could be the meanest person ever and just have a friendly appearance. Take Regina George from Mean Girls for example. Regina George has a friendly appearance to some people but she is actually deceptive and talks bad about any one she feels like. I am deceptive also. If I am in a crowd or classroom and know no one I show a quiet shy girl exterior. But I am no where near shy or quiet, I can be very loud and knock off. Everyone is deceptive at times, like people that dress with a gothic look and have the appearance that their upset. But when you get to know them they are actually one of the most happy hearted, positive attitude.
Our values are substantial because they are what an individual follow and believe in. Just like our values Americas values are substantial also because they are what make this society and give us something to follow. If you go to an interview for college your first challenge is when they look at you and see if you look like a person who won't mess things up. And that is important because if you have "Whatever" look on then most likely that is the kind of attitude you will have. People go by the slogan "when you look your best you feel your best" and then you achieve things positively.
If someone comes to school with prada bags and clothes that are, in the fashion world, "in season" and has a purse or shoes to match every outfit it is obvious that person is wealthy. Most people that aren't as fortunate don't like them and vise versa. The unfortunate ones think of those people to be selfish and care about only themselves. While minority amount of the wealthy think that if you are not high class like them then you are "ghetto". So being wealthy or unwealthy matters quite a lot. Every time you look at someone and see their outfit and you might think "Gee is this person like really poor that they can't buy outfits that don't look like they're from the Goodwill" and even "If only I had as much money as that person I would use it for college not on dumb $300 Coach purses".

  1. You brought up some very good points and using mean girls as a reference was very clever.

  2. I like when you stated "when you look your best you feel your best" and then you achieve things positively." I believe that is true. I like how you wrote you blog with such good stream of consciousnesses. And I like how you alluded to "Mean Girls" to show your point about appearance being deceptive.
